Rodeo de las Aguas 5-Year Extra Añejo and Reposado each awarded Double Gold Medals and Best of Class Finalist honors
Henderson, Nevada – April 30, 2024 – Rodeo de las Aguas, a new brand of premium tequila, was awarded a total of five medals in the prestigious 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition including two Double Gold and Best of Class Finalists, announced Tony Garcia, CEO of Doheny Road Spirits LLC.
From a field of 450 tequilas, the Rodeo de las Aguas 5-Year Extra Añejo and Reposado were each awarded Double Gold Medals and Best of Class Finalist honors with ratings of 97 and 95 respectively. Rodeo de las Aguas Blanco and Cristalino Añejo were each awarded Silver Medals, and the Añejo awarded a Bronze Medal. The annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the industry’s largest and most influential blind-tasting event with a distinguished panel of 70 judges. Official Best of Class award winners will be announced in San Francisco this October at the Top Shelf 2024 Gala.

In addition to the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Rodeo de las Aguas Tequila has been recognized by hundreds of judges in industry-leading blind-tasting competitions. In January, at the 2024 Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition, Rodeo de las Aguas Cristalino Añejo won Best of Show and a Double Gold Medal, the 5-Year Extra Añejo won a Gold Medal, Reposado and Blanco were each awarded Silver Medals. In the 2024 L.A. Spirits Awards, Rodeo de las Aguas Blanco and Añejo each won Silver Medals, the Reposado, Cristalino Añejo, and 5-Year Extra Añejo each won Bronze Medals.
